    Bass Stalkers Picture Goes Here

The Bass Stalkers fishing club was started by Steve Snell in the early 1990’s.  We currently have 10 members in the club.  Most of our members having been fishing the R.I. Bass Federation since it began in 1987.  The club is a casual fishing club who enjoys fishing local waters with the emphasis on supporting our federation nation by participating in the opens tournaments/fund raisers, supporting the federation trail and participating in our State Qualifying Tournament.

In addition to supporting our federation and its programs we also support the juniors program by donating time as boat captains.  The clubs also has plans this summer to take cub-scouts out fishing for the day.

The club is very diligent in regards to conservation.  We have worked on clean-up projects at South Watuppa and Mashapaug pond.  The club is planning to participate in the Federation Nation Clean-up project of Spectacle pond on March 28, 2009.

For more information about the Bass Stalkers you can contact Mike Asciola at m.asciola@juno.com
