The DEQ

Roy is
asking each chapter to give some thought to where next years SQT could be
held.
SQT:
It was pointed out that during
the loading and unloading of boats at fish-off operators were not wearing
life jackets. This is grounds for disqualification. It was suggested
that we each chapter makes arrangements to bring an alternate to the SQT
in the future.
Tournament Report:
The TOC has
been changed to So. Watuppa, on October 6, 2002.
A
proposal has been made to hold a Federation Singles Event open to 30
individuals unless there is more interest. The series will start after the
SQT there will be three qualifying events. The top ten will compete in a
mega bucks style tournament.
It was
brought up that trail participants should know ahead of time what is off
limits.
Awards Banquet:
The Banquet
will be held again at Lancellot’s in February. The price of tickets was
set at $20 a person. Each chapter is responsible for the cash amount of
the tickets they ordered. We must give a head count before hand and we are
responsible for that amount.
Old

motion was made to distribute one patch to each member. There is a
membership drive sponsored by B.A.S.S. for every member that is taken R.I. BASS
Fed Youth fund gets $6. It was motioned to discontinue the old rockers.
New
Business: The city of
Washington, DC has been added to the Eastern Division. We now have 14
members in the divisions. The awards package chapter achievements will be
revised. The Bass Bums would like to thank all those who showed up for the
