Youth Report: The Kasting Kids will be held at West Warwick High School from 9:00am until 4:00pm Saturday January 18, 2003. Your help is needed at this important event. The Rhode Island Junior Bassmasters will hold its meeting Friday night January 17, 2003. Wish-Come-True have been receiving donation from several of the one hundred venders that were contacted. The junior Bassmasters is in need of fishing tackle you may have no more use for it would provide a kid with much needed tackle.

 I would like to thank our Youth Directors, Mike and Debbie Clemente, The RI Junior Bassmasters, and the RI State team for the job they did at the Casting Kids Event held today at West Warwick High School. The last casting Kids event before the state finals will be held at the Bristol Youth Center, Thames Street Bristol, on February 22 from 9 to 12. All kids from the ages of 7 to 14 are welcome to compete. -Roger

Environmental Report: Jan Reitsma has been reappointed as director DEM. Each chapter being asked to send a letter to Governor Donald Carcieri, 116 State House, Providence, RI 02903

Protesting the actions of the Director of DEM. A form letter is being composed to be sent to the Governor by each chapter.

The State Team Open will be held at the Memorial Beach Ramp @Webster Lake April 13, 2003

Each Chapter is reminded to submit their donation for the Open Meeting, March 9, 2003 at Club Jacques 1:00pm.
